Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Freight Broker, located in Chandigarh. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing freight logistics, developing and maintaining relationships with carriers and shippers, negotiating rates, arranging transportation, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods. The individual will also provide exceptional customer service and handle account management duties to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and ability to manage brokerage operations effectively
- Experience in Dispatching and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong Customer Service skills to nurture relationships with clients and carriers
- Expertise in Account Management to oversee and optimize client relationships and freight accounts
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in an on-site office environment in Chandigarh
- Experience working in logistics or transportation is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
