Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Freight Broker for a full-time, on-site position located in the Mohali district. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing freight operations, coordinating dispatch activities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and handling accounts. This role involves negotiating rates, scheduling shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, and providing excellent customer service to shippers and carriers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and familiarity with brokerage operations
- Strong skills in Customer Service and Dispatching to manage carrier and client communications effectively
- Experience in Account Management to ensure clients' needs are met and relationships are maintained
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to navigate complex freight-related challenges
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to coordinate shipments and track deliveries efficiently
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in the Mohali district
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry trends and regulations is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
