Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role based in Mohali phase 7 . The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing carrier networks, negotiating rates, booking shipments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers. They will track freight shipments, handle inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure timely and efficient delivery. The role also involves implementing logistics solutions and ensuring operational compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of transportation, freight, and logistics operations
- Experience with carrier sourcing and contract management
- Proficiency in freight management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a similar logistics or brokerage role is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field is an advantage
