Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker at J N J Holdings LLC. The Freight Broker will source and secure freight, negotiate rates with shippers and carriers, and build relationships to maintain a reliable transportation network. Daily responsibilities include coordinating dispatch, tracking loads, resolving service issues, and ensuring on-time delivery. The role also involves managing customer accounts, providing timely updates, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with company standards and industry regulations. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential to support high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage to negotiate rates, secure capacity, and manage freight from booking through delivery.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to build relationships, respond to inquiries, and maintain ongoing client satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess Dispatching skills to coordinate drivers, optimize routes, and monitor shipments for on-time performance.
- Candidates should have solid communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or trucking operations is preferred, along with familiarity with industry software and load boards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in logistics, supply chain, or business is a plus.
