Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for coordinating freight shipments, building and maintaining customer relationships, managing freight accounts, and ensuring timely deliveries. Key day-to-day tasks include negotiating contracts, dispatching drivers, resolving transportation issues, providing shipment updates to clients, and managing logistics to meet budget and time requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations
- Experience in Customer Service and the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Expertise in Dispatching and coordinating transportation logistics
- Proficiency in Account Management and maintaining financial records for freight services
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with logistics software and tools is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
