Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Broker located in the Mohali district. The Freight Broker will be responsible for negotiating and securing freight contracts, managing carrier and customer relationships, scheduling and coordinating dispatch operations, maintaining accurate account records, and handling customer service inquiries related to freight logistics. The role requires a dynamic individual who can meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations
- Experience in Customer Service with a focus on effective communication and problem-solving
- Proficiency in Dispatching and coordinating transportation logistics effectively
- Demonstrated ability in Account Management, including maintaining relationships and tracking performance metrics
- Professional communication skills for interaction with clients, carriers, and internal teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment based in the Mohali district
- Familiarity with freight management software is a plus
- Relevant certifications or training in logistics or brokerage are advantageous
