Role Description
This full-time, on-site Freight Broker position is based in Gurugram and involves managing the coordination of freight transportation services. Responsibilities include building relationships with carriers and clients, negotiating rates, tracking shipments, handling transportation documentation, and resolving shipping issues. The Freight Broker will also maintain accurate records and demonstrate a commitment to improving efficiency in logistics operations while ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of freight brokering, transportation logistics, and shipping coordination
- Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using logistics software and tracking systems
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in logistics and transportation
- Prior experience in freight brokering or transportation management is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus
