Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role based in Noida for individuals with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. The Freight Broker will source and manage carriers, negotiate competitive rates, and arrange freight movements across different modes in line with customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include coordinating dispatch activities, monitoring shipment status, resolving transit issues, and ensuring timely delivery. The role involves building and maintaining strong accounts, handling customer inquiries, and providing proactive communication and updates throughout the shipping process. The Freight Broker will collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and high service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, including carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and lane management.
- Proficiency in Customer Service, with the ability to manage client expectations, handle escalations, and provide timely updates.
- Experience in Dispatching, including coordinating loads, tracking shipments, and optimizing routes and schedules.
- Skilled in Account Management, with a track record of maintaining and growing customer relationships in logistics or transportation.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of domestic and international freight processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Comfort with using logistics software, transportation management systems (TMS), and basic MS Office tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple shipments simultaneously, and make decisions under time pressure.
- Relevant educational background in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
