Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role based in Noida, working in a US shift. The Freight Broker will source and secure freight opportunities, negotiate rates with carriers, and manage end-to-end load coordination. Daily responsibilities include dispatching trucks, tracking shipments, resolving in-transit issues, and ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation, updating transportation management systems, and complying with customer and regulatory requirements. The Freight Broker will also handle customer inquiries, build and maintain account relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to support operational efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, including negotiating rates, managing loads, and coordinating with carriers and shippers.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to handle client communication, resolve issues, and sustain long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess Dispatching skills to assign loads, manage schedules, and track vehicle movements in alignment with delivery timelines.
- Relevant experience (0–5 years) in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage is preferred, with exposure to US markets an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, night-shift environment.
- Basic understanding of transportation regulations, documentation, and industry terminology; familiarity with TMS or CRM tools is beneficial.
- Ability to analyze rates and lane performance, solve operational problems, and make sound decisions under time constraints.
- Graduate degree or equivalent education in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred; willingness to learn and adapt to process changes is essential.
