Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will manage client relationships, identify logistics solutions, negotiate shipping rates, and facilitate the seamless movement of goods. Key responsibilities include coordinating shipments, handling communications with carriers, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage services
- Proficiency in Dispatching and coordination of shipments
- Exceptional Customer Service and Account Management skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficient problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Previous experience in the logistics or transportation industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous
