About the Role

We are looking for creative and detail-oriented freelance writers to craft powerful, impact-driven stories for medical and NGO crowdfunding campaigns. The role involves creating emotionally compelling narratives that inspire empathy, build trust, and motivate people to contribute towards life-saving treatments and social causes.

The ideal candidate can translate real-life struggles into authentic, sensitive, and engaging stories while adapting tone for different audiences and meeting deadlines consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Write compelling medical and NGO crowdfunding stories based on case details and briefs
• Create emotionally engaging narratives highlighting patient journeys, family struggles, and social impact initiatives
• Develop fundraising content including campaign stories, scripts, appeals, and impact communication
• Research medical conditions, treatments, and social causes to ensure accuracy and sensitivity
• Transform complex medical or social information into clear, human-centered storytelling
• Adapt writing style based on audience, platform, and campaign needs
• Edit and revise content based on feedback while maintaining authenticity
• Meet project timelines and ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and impact storytelling

Requirements

• Proven experience in content writing, storytelling, or copywriting
• Strong command of English (regional language proficiency is a plus)
• Ability to write emotionally compelling, empathetic, and sensitive content
• Strong research skills, especially for medical or social topics
• Ability to simplify complex information into clear narratives
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Portfolio or writing samples required (preferably impact or storytelling work)

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience writing medical crowdfunding or patient stories
• Experience in NGO, healthcare, or social impact storytelling
• Experience writing fundraising or donation-driven content
• Scriptwriting experience for digital or campaign videos
• Understanding of ethical storytelling and sensitive case handling
