Job Description: Freelance Videographer (On-ground Shoots)About the RoleWe are looking for passionate and reliable freelance videographers to join our on-ground production network. You will be responsible for capturing real, human stories across medical and NGO campaigns — focusing on emotion-driven storytelling that can drive impact and fundraising.
This role requires strong documentary-style shooting skills, sensitivity while working with beneficiaries, and the ability to follow structured shoot briefs.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to assigned locations (homes, hospitals, NGOs) for shoots
- Capture high-quality video content as per the shoot brief
- Record interviews (patients, families, NGO founders, etc.)
- Shoot relevant b-roll that supports storytelling
- Ensure proper audio capture (lapel/boom preferred)
- Follow framing, lighting, and composition guidelines
- Coordinate with internal team for shoot alignment
- Upload raw footage within defined timelines
What We’re Looking For- Experience in documentary / interview-based shoots
- Ability to handle emotional and sensitive environments with empathy
- Strong understanding of:
- Framing & composition
- Natural lighting
- Clean audio recording
- Ability to follow structured briefs and shot lists
- Good communication and professionalism on ground
- Availability for travel and flexible schedules
Equipment Requirements (Mandatory)- DSLR / Mirrorless camera (1080p minimum, 4K preferred)
- Tripod
- External microphone (Lapel preferred)
- Basic lighting (optional but preferred)
Preferred Experience- Experience in NGO / medical / human-interest storytelling
- Prior work in crowdfunding or social impact content
- Ability to capture natural, candid moments
Deliverables- Interview footage (well-framed and audible)
- B-roll footage as per brief
- All raw footage files (organized)
- Optional: basic selects or rough cuts (if required)
LocationPan India (Freelance / Assignment-based)
Payment Structure- Per shoot basis (based on location and complexity)
- Travel reimbursement (as applicable)
- Additional incentives for high-quality and repeat work
