Freelance Video Editors (India | Remote/Hybrid)
At Red Lantern, we don’t just edit content, we shape how sport and entertainment connects with audiences around the world.
We’re looking for freelance video editors to join our global team, people who understand how to turn moments into stories, and stories into content that actually travels.
This role plays a key part in our creative output, bringing global campaigns and ideas to life through fast, platform-native editing and storytelling.
What you’ll be doing
Create content that connects
- Edit high-energy video content across sport and entertainment (social, interviews, podcasts)
- Shape narratives through pacing, sound design and music
- Turn raw footage into content built for platforms, not just timelines
Drive quality at pace
- Deliver high-quality edits within tight deadlines
- Maintain consistency across multiple projects and formats
- Ensure output meets both creative and brand standards
Collaborate across teams
- Work closely with creatives, strategists and producers
- Support campaign delivery and content rollouts
- Coordinate with internal teams to keep projects moving
What you bring
A strong understanding of content and storytelling
- Proven experience in video editing (sports or entertainment preferred)
- A clear instinct for pacing, narrative and visual impact
A platform-first mindset
- Understanding of digital trends and social formats
- Ability to create content that feels native, engaging and shareable
The ability to execute
- Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail across multiple projects
Technical capability
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or similar
- Experience working alongside editors and visual teams

- Experience: Sports or entertainment content experience preferred
