About the Role
We’re looking for a freelance video editor who can create exciting, fast-paced, visually engaging campaigns and ads using stock footage, AI tools, motion, sound and smart storytelling. This is a great opportunity for a fresher who has strong taste, curiosity and the ability to turn simple ideas into compelling short-form video content. We want to work on a monthly retainer basis for a fixed number of videos.
What You’ll Do
- Create campaign videos, ads, reels and promotional content for digital platforms
- Use stock footage creatively to build strong visual narratives
- Experiment with AI tools for video generation, voice, cleanup, enhancement, subtitles or ideation
- Add music, sound effects, text, transitions and motion elements to make content feel polished and dynamic
- Translate briefs into engaging video concepts with a strong hook and clear flow
- Adapt edits for different formats such as Instagram, YouTube and paid ads
- Work closely with the creative team to refine videos based on feedback
- Stay updated on editing styles, social media trends and new AI tools
What We’re Looking For
- Fresher or early-stage editor with a strong interest in advertising, social media and branded content
- Good sense of pacing, rhythm, storytelling and visual composition
- Familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar tools
- Interest in using AI tools as part of the creative process
- Ability to work with stock footage and make it feel original and intentional
- Good understanding of current content styles across Instagram and digital ads
- Open to feedback, quick to learn, and proactive in trying new ideas
Nice to Have
- Basic motion graphics skills
- Experience editing short-form content, even for personal, college or passion projects
- Awareness of AI video and creative tools
- A portfolio, sample edits or even spec ads showing your style and thinking
