Role Description: The Freelance Video Editor will work remotely, collaborating closely with creative, product, and marketing teams. The role involves editing raw footage into polished videos, assembling narrative sequences, and adapting content for multiple platforms and formats. Responsibilities include applying colour grading, integrating motion graphics and visual elements, and ensuring brand-consistent aesthetics across all video assets. The video editor will manage project timelines, organise media assets, and iterate on feedback to deliver high-quality content that showcases QWR’s products, use cases, and brand story. This role requires hands-on involvement in video production workflows and close coordination with stakeholders to meet deadlines and production standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong video production and video editing skills, including handling footage from various cameras and formats.
- Candidates should possess video colour grading skills to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall image quality.
- Candidates should possess motion graphics and graphics skills to create overlays, titles, animations, and product-focused visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing and motion tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) and familiarity with sound design basics.
- Strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into compelling video content.
- Relevant experience in tech, hardware, XR, or product-focused video content is an advantage; a degree or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
