Freelance Video Editor (Social Media + AI + Motion Graphics)
Role
Create high-performing social media videos end-to-end—fast, sharp, and platform-ready.
What you’ll do
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, ads) with strong pacing and hooks
- Create motion graphics (titles, transitions, basic animations)
- Use AI tools for video generation, enhancement, and speed (e.g., Runway, Pika, etc.)
- Adapt content across formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
- Add sound design, subtitles, and platform-native styles
- Turn raw footage or ideas into finished videos quickly
What you should know
- Solid editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve)
- Motion basics (After Effects or similar)
- AI video tools (Runway, Pika, CapCut AI, etc.)
- Strong sense of pacing, trends, and what works on Instagram/YouTube
- Ability to deliver fast and iterate quickly
Nice to have
- Experience with brand/content teams
- Basic color grading and sound mixing
Output expectation
- Multiple videos per week
- Quick turnaround (24–72 hrs depending on scope)
