Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freelance Video Editor role based in Indore. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and creating cohesive, compelling video narratives for various digital platforms. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and arranging clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, performing color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed. The role involves collaborating with directors, producers, and other creative team members to understand project goals, refining edits based on feedback, and ensuring timely delivery of final files in the required formats. The Video Editor is expected to maintain organized project files, follow brand guidelines, and consistently uphold quality and technical standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including experience with industry-standard editing software.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create and integrate titles, lower thirds, and other visual elements.
- Candidates should have a solid understanding of audio editing basics, file formats, aspect ratios, and export settings for various platforms.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and the ability to interpret creative briefs and feedback effectively.
- Candidates should be able to work on-site in Indore, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Prior experience as a Video Editor or similar role and a portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant work are highly beneficial.
- A degree or certification in film, media, animation, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory if supported by strong professional experience.
