Role Description
This is a part - time remote role located in Bengaluru for a Freelance SOP Strategist. The role entails conducting detailed reviews of Statements of Purpose, providing structured feedback, and refining SOPs to align with admissions criteria. The strategist will develop customized narrative strategies for applicants, maintain adherence to the established evaluation framework, and provide guidance on crafting impactful LORs and resumes. Regular collaboration with clients to understand their academic and professional journeys will be crucial for creating tailored application materials that stand out.
Qualifications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills to create polished and impactful application materials
- Strong research and analytical skills for aligning SOP content with graduate program requirements
- Experience with content strategy and the ability to structure high-impact narratives
- Ability to provide personalized guidance and feedback based on individual client goals
- Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with graduate admissions processes, particularly in MS, MBA, and PhD programs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in proofreading, consulting, or content development roles is a strong asset
