ThreatXIntel is seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer (Full-Stack Python) to support the development of enterprise-grade AI applications for a global asset management environment.
This role involves designing and developing end-to-end AI systems, including modern web interfaces, backend APIs, data pipelines, and LLM-powered applications. The engineer will play a key role in building scalable and production-ready AI infrastructure while following strong software engineering and security practices.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in Python backend development, modern web frameworks, LLM systems, and cloud-based AI deployment.
Key Responsibilities
AI Application Development
- Design and develop AI-powered applications integrating modern web front-ends, backend APIs, and LLM workflows.
- Build full-stack solutions using React / Next.js / TypeScript and Python frameworks.
Backend & API Development
- Develop backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Design scalable APIs and application architectures.
LLM Systems & AI Engineering
Develop and maintain LLM-based systems including:
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Embedding models
- Prompt engineering and prompt templates
- Guardrails and monitoring systems
Data Engineering
- Build data ingestion pipelines supporting AI applications.
- Maintain structured data storage using SQL and vector databases.
Observability & Reliability
- Implement logging, monitoring, metrics, and performance analysis for AI systems.
Security & Governance
- Ensure systems meet enterprise security standards and model governance requirements, particularly within financial services environments.
Collaboration & Architecture
- Work with domain experts and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Communicate architecture decisions to both technical and non-technical teams.
Mentorship & Engineering Standards
- Mentor developers on Python best practices, AI engineering patterns, and clean code principles.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience building and deploying ML / AI / LLM applications in production
