Duration: 6 Months Initial Contract
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA Planning Functional Expert to support a global ERP transformation program within a leading international consumer healthcare organization. The consultant will take ownership of SAP Production Planning capabilities, including PP/DS and planning integrations, while also supporting Industrial Purchasing processes within SAP MM.
The role will contribute to large-scale SAP S/4HANA deployments, business process optimization, solution design, and supply chain planning roadmap initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the SAP PP scope, including planning integrations and PP/DS processes.
- Support SAP MM processes related to Industrial Purchasing.
- Design, configure, and enhance SAP S/4HANA Planning solutions.
- Participate in global ERP transformation and migration initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Support architecture reviews, solution design, and product roadmap activities.
- Work closely with development teams to deliver functional enhancements and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure end-to-end integration across planning, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain processes.
- Provide expert support for critical incidents and business continuity activities.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong expertise in SAP PP.
- Hands-on experience with SAP PP/DS implementations and configuration.
- Strong SAP S/4HANA experience, including transformation or migration projects.
- Experience with SAP MM, particularly Industrial Purchasing processes.
- Proven experience in functional design, configuration, and solution delivery.
- Experience integrating SAP ERP with planning and operational systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and business-facing communication skills.
- Ability to work across global teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical environments.
- Knowledge of embedded SAP S/4HANA PP/DS.
- Experience with advanced planning platforms such as Kinaxis or Blue Yonder.
- Data migration and system integration expertise.
- Experience working within global SAP template or transformation programs.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
Contract Details
Location: Hyderabad (India)
Working Model: Hybrid
Set up: Freelance/Contractor, GST hard requirement.
Start: ASAP
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with possible extension
