Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Java Spark Engineer with strong experience in the Payments domain to join our team on a freelance/contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java (17/21) and Spring Boot
- Build and optimize data processing pipelines using Apache Spark
- Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Work within microservices architecture and containerized environments (Kubernetes)
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team environment
- Contribute to payments systems modernization and dispute resolution enhancements
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of applications
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java Full Stack Development
- Expertise in:
- Java 17/21
- Spring Boot & Microservices
- Apache Spark
- AWS Cloud (Cloud-native development)
- Kubernetes (Container orchestration)
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and engineering skills
- Experience in Payments domain (mandatory)
Good to Have
- Experience in payment disputes systems
- Exposure to modernization/transformation projects
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
