Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle ERP Cloud Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Financials – General Ledger (GL) and advanced PL/SQL development.
The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations, reports, custom extensions, and data conversions within Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, ensuring financial data accuracy and supporting critical accounting processes.
This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise and financial systems understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle ERP Cloud – General Ledger
- Configure and support Oracle ERP Cloud Financials – General Ledger
- Manage Chart of Accounts (COA), Ledgers, Journal Entries, Allocations
- Support Period Close and Financial Reporting
- Troubleshoot GL-related issues and provide production support
- Work closely with finance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Technical Development (PL/SQL & Integrations)
Develop and maintain:
- PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
Design and implement:
- Inbound / Outbound Integrations
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- FBDI
- HDL
Develop reporting and integrations using:
- BI Publisher
- OTBI Custom Reports
- Data conversion scripts
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) (preferred)
Perform:
- Performance tuning
- Query optimization
Data & Reporting
Develop financial reports using:
- BI Publisher
- OTBI
- Smart View
Support:
- Financial reconciliations
- Audit queries
- Month-end and year-end close reporting
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work with functional consultants and finance stakeholders
- Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD)
- Participate in solution architecture discussions
- Support UAT and deployment
- Ensure compliance with financial and audit standards
