Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced .NET Rule Engine Architect with strong expertise in C# architecture, rule engine development, and healthcare domain systems.
The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable rule engine frameworks, supporting healthcare workflows, and building configurable business rules that power enterprise healthcare applications.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in .NET architecture, rule engine frameworks, and healthcare data workflows, along with the ability to collaborate with product teams and developers to design robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Rule Engine Development
- Design and develop rule engine frameworks using .NET and C#.
- Build and maintain dynamic rule-based systems for healthcare applications.
- Implement rule configuration, evaluation logic, and decision workflows.
Architecture & System Design
- Define application architecture and technical design for rule-based systems.
- Develop scalable, high-performance backend solutions using .NET technologies.
- Ensure best practices in software architecture, code quality, and system performance.
Healthcare Domain Integration
- Support healthcare workflows including claims processing, eligibility checks, compliance rules, and decision engines.
- Work with healthcare standards and business processes to implement rule-driven solutions.
Collaboration & Development Support
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and healthcare domain experts.
- Support implementation, testing, and deployment of rule-based systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in .NET development
- Strong expertise in C# architecture and backend development
- Experience building rule engines or rule-based decision systems
- Strong experience in software architecture and system design
- Experience in the Healthcare domain
- Knowledge of API integrations and enterprise application architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience with rules engines like NRules, Drools (conceptually), or custom rule frameworks
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and workflow automation
