Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Memory Firmware Engineer with strong expertise in firmware development, CI/CD pipelines, and memory interface technologies (DDR/LPDDR/SerDes).

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including RTL, hardware, and architecture teams to design, develop, and optimize next-generation memory PHY and interface IPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for high-speed memory interfaces (DDR, LPDDR, inter-chip IO)
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Manage integration with internal and external codebases
• Monitor and maintain CI pipeline health and stability
• Debug system-level and firmware issues across multiple environments
• Handle code merges, PR conflicts, and release processes
• Support post-silicon validation, bring-up, and optimization
• Collaborate with RTL, architecture, and hardware teams for firmware-hardware co-design

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Firmware Engineering
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, Python
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, Git workflows, GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
• Experience working with JSON, YAML configurations
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DDR / LPDDR / SERDES / Memory Controller Design
• Understanding of computer architecture and microarchitecture
• Experience in post-silicon validation and lab bring-up
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering (Mandatory)
• Master’s / PhD is a plus
