Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Memory Firmware Engineer with strong expertise in firmware development, CI/CD pipelines, and memory interface technologies (DDR/LPDDR/SerDes).
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including RTL, hardware, and architecture teams to design, develop, and optimize next-generation memory PHY and interface IPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop firmware for high-speed memory interfaces (DDR, LPDDR, inter-chip IO)
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Manage integration with internal and external codebases
- Monitor and maintain CI pipeline health and stability
- Debug system-level and firmware issues across multiple environments
- Handle code merges, PR conflicts, and release processes
- Support post-silicon validation, bring-up, and optimization
- Collaborate with RTL, architecture, and hardware teams for firmware-hardware co-design
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Firmware Engineering
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, Python
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Git workflows, GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
- Experience working with JSON, YAML configurations
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DDR / LPDDR / SERDES / Memory Controller Design
- Understanding of computer architecture and microarchitecture
- Experience in post-silicon validation and lab bring-up
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering (Mandatory)
- Master’s / PhD is a plus
