Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Architect / Civil Engineer with strong experience in Mumbai redevelopment projects, statutory approvals, planning, coordination and liaison. The candidate will be responsible for managing the technical and approval process for redevelopment projects under DCPR 2034, from initial feasibility and documentation through approval and commencement stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and coordinate statutory approvals for redevelopment projects under DCPR 2034 Regulations 33(7), 33(9), 33(11), 33(18), 33(19) and 33(20)B.
- Study development potential, FSI, TDR, fungible FSI, rehabilitation requirements and permissible built-up area.
- Prepare and review development proposals, feasibility studies, area statements, plans and approval documentation.
- Coordinate with MCGM, MHADA, SRA and other statutory authorities, as applicable.
- Liaise with architects, structural consultants, surveyors, MEP consultants, society representatives, developers and government officers.
- Track approval status, identify deficiencies and ensure timely compliance with authority observations.
- Review drawings and documents for technical and regulatory compliance before submission.
- Maintain approval trackers, project records and statutory correspondence.
- Support project teams in resolving planning, technical and approval-related issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: B.Arch. / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with relevant redevelopment and statutory approval experience.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of DCPR 2034, development permissions, redevelopment regulations, MCGM approval procedures, documentation, coordination and liaison work. Candidates with practical Mumbai redevelopment experience will be preferred.
