At Meritshot, we’re looking for Freelance Investment Banking Instructors with a minimum of 5+ years of industry experience who can deliver impactful, hands-on training.
💼 What we’re looking for (Non-Negotiable Skills):
🔹 Financial Modeling Expertise
• 3-Statement Models
• DCF Valuation
• LBO Modeling
• M&A Models
🔹 Strong Valuation Knowledge
• Comparable Company Analysis (Comps)
• Precedent Transactions
• Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
🔹 Real Investment Banking Exposure
• Experience in M&A, ECM, or Advisory roles
• Hands-on involvement in live deals (not just theoretical knowledge)
🔹 Advanced Tool Proficiency
• Excel (advanced shortcuts, model structuring, error-checking)
• Power BI (basic dashboarding)
• PowerPoint (Pitch decks, CIMs, Investor Presentations)
🔹 End-to-End Deal Process Understanding
• Pitching → Mandate → Due Diligence → Negotiation → Closing
• Clear understanding of stakeholder roles
