Role Description
The Freelance Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and refining content to ensure clarity, accuracy, tone, and consistency with brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include proofreading, revising content for grammar and style, fact-checking, and collaborating with content creators to enhance overall quality. The editor will also offer feedback to writers and manage content formatting for digital publishing. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune District.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in editing, proofreading, and refining content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and stylistic accuracy
- Experience in content strategy development and crafting content that aligns with brand tone
- Strong research abilities for fact-checking and ensuring content authenticity
- Proficiency in optimizing content for SEO and digital platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with content creators and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with digital publishing tools and platforms
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
