Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Ujjain for a Freelance Editor. The editor will be responsible for reviewing, refining, and editing content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with project goals. Day-to-day tasks may include proofreading, fact-checking, enhancing written materials, collaborating with creative teams, and maintaining brand voice across various deliverables. The role also involves coordinating with writers and designers to ensure high-quality and impactful outcomes for digital campaigns and communication materials.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Editing, Proofreading, and attention to grammatical and factual accuracy
- Experience with Content Strategy, Copywriting, and ensuring cohesive messaging
- Familiarity with Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, and SEO principles
- Proficient in Creative Writing and tailoring content to specific audiences
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with team members and clients
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and work within deadlines
- Knowledge of content management systems and editing tools is an advantage
- Relevant educational background in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred
- Experience with branding or creative industries is a plus
