Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Freelance Data Engineer. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, developing and maintaining data models, implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and managing data warehousing solutions. Additionally, the role involves analyzing datasets to extract actionable insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Data Engineering, including managing large-scale data pipelines and workflows
- Experience in Data Modeling and designing scalable, efficient data architectures
- Strong skills in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and tools
- Expertise in Data Warehousing and database management systems
- Knowledge of Data Analytics to derive insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and big data tools is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setup
