Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is seeking an experienced IT PMO & Technology Architecture Consultant to establish and enhance PMO governance while also designing foundational IT systems and technology architecture.
Key Responsibilities
1. PMO Governance & Framework
- Design and implement PMO structures, governance models, and control mechanisms
- Develop standardized methodologies (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid)
- Establish stage gates, lifecycle controls, and reporting frameworks
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards
2. Technology Architecture & Systems Foundation
- Assess current fragmented IT and data landscape
- Design target-state technology architecture aligned with business needs
- Define system integration frameworks and data linkages
- Support consolidation of data and systems into a unified structure
- Recommend foundational IT platforms and infrastructure setup
- Ensure scalability, security, and interoperability of systems
3. Program & Portfolio Management
- Manage IT project portfolio (prioritization, budgeting, resource allocation)
- Track risks, dependencies, milestones, and program health
- Align IT initiatives with overall business strategy
- Develop executive dashboards and governance reports
4. Project Monitoring & Control
- Define KPIs and performance metrics
- Monitor scope, cost, quality, and timelines
- Conduct audits, health checks, and risk mitigation planning
5. Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Coordinate with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and partners
- Facilitate steering committee discussions
- Ensure transparent cross-functional communication
6. Process Improvement & Digital Enablement
- Identify process gaps in IT delivery
- Drive IT transformation initiatives
- Implement and optimize PM tools (JIRA, MS Project, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Promote continuous improvement culture

Skills Required
Qualifications:
-MBA from top 10 premium tier-1 B-school
-3+ years of experience in IT Project/Program Management.
-2+ years consulting experience in client facing roles.
-Strong understanding of IT systems architecture and enterprise technology landscapes
-Experience in system consolidation and integration initiatives
-Hands-on exposure to PM and IT tools (MS Project, JIRA, Clarity, ServiceNow)
-Strong analytical, governance, and stakeholder management skills
