Role Overview:
We are looking for a Freelance Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with experience in travel technology and GDS platforms to support high-impact, mission-critical projects.
This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, improve systems, and deliver efficient automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and refine business and system requirements
- Collaborate with technical teams to test solutions and resolve issues
- Support development teams with functional clarifications
- Create process flows, business flow diagrams, and functional documentation
- Evaluate and recommend automated solutions for business needs
- Conduct feasibility analysis for new system enhancements
- Assist in defining project timelines and deliverables
- Perform testing (UAT/Beta) to validate functionality and logic
- Prepare documentation, training materials, and implementation guides
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand current processes and improve them
- Support senior BSA team members on ongoing initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Travel Technology / GDS domain
- Hands-on knowledge of Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport
- Strong experience in business analysis & requirement gathering
- Good understanding of SQL (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret XML outputs
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a freelance environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on analysis experience
