Role Description The Freelance Business Consultant will work on partnership basis per target achieved. This role involves assessing business needs, analyzing current processes, and recommending strategies to improve performance and efficiency. The consultant will collaborate with internal teams and clients to design solutions that align with the organization’s computer science–driven approach. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and financial analysis, preparing reports and presentations, facilitating discussions with stakeholders, and supporting implementation of approved recommendations. The consultant is expected to maintain clear communication with management and clients and ensure that project goals are met within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess business performance, identify issues, and develop data-informed recommendations.
- Experience in consulting or management consulting, with the ability to structure problems, define project scopes, and deliver strategic guidance.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings, lead client conversations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of finance to interpret financial statements, support budgeting, and evaluate the impact of proposed solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on-site/remote, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with technology-driven environments and interest in applying computing principles to business challenges.
- Prior experience in business development, training, or tech-focused organizations is advantageous.
