Job Overview:
We are seeking a Risk Analyst I who will be responsible for providing risk management support on the sales and reservations side of the business. The role focuses on fraud detection, transaction analysis, and monitoring of network-related fraud activities while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide technology and fraud detection support to identify and manage network-related fraud traffic.
- Support breach coordination including identification of incident details, timeline, and customer impact.
- Coordinate with Fraud, Legal, and Corporate Security teams when required.
- Perform daily and periodic monitoring of fraud-related activities and transactions.
- Ensure completeness, correctness, and consistency of data used for analysis.
- Detect, analyse, and authenticate potentially fraudulent transactions in a card-not-present environment.
- Work closely with the Loss Prevention team to identify fraud trends and patterns.
- Support internal and external data requirements and maintain data quality.
- Provide effective customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in Fraud Prevention or a related role.
- Experience in the eCommerce domain is preferred.
- Knowledge of international travel and geographical locations is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of end-to-end reconciliation control processes for Merchant Operations.
- Ability to identify revenue recovery opportunities.
- Ability to identify system-level improvements in Merchant Settlement processes and collaborate with accounting teams.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access Database.
- Experience in preparing reports and maintaining trackers.
