OUR INVESTMENT IN YOU

Pay Range: $22.60-$28.08 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: This is an on‑site role based at Frasier’s Boulder campus and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Maintain Accurate & Compliant Medical Records

  • Manage day‑to‑day health information processes across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Support
  • Ensure documentation is complete, timely, secure, and survey‑ready
  • Monitor records in PointClickCare (PCC) and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation

Support Documentation Quality & Compliance

  • Conduct routine medical record audits and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with clinical leadership to support documentation standards and regulatory readiness
  • Assist with Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts

Release of Information & Record Retention

  • Manage release of health information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policy
  • Maintain disclosure logs and oversee record retention and secure destruction

Be a Go‑To Resource

  • Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource to clinical teams, admissions, and leadership
  • Support survey readiness and coordinate record retrieval during audits or reviews
  • Collaborate with an RHIA consultant providing oversight of the Skilled Nursing medical record program

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED

  • Experience in health information management, medical records, or related healthcare roles (skilled nursing or long‑term care preferred)
  • Working knowledge of electronic health record systems (PointClickCare preferred)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA privacy standards and medical record documentation requirements
  • Familiar with ICD‑10 coding and its application to medical record documentation
  • Associate degree in Health Information Management, Health Administration, or a related field preferred
  • RHIT, RHIA, CHIM, or similar credential preferred but not required
