<br>Position Overview<br><br>
</div><div>We are hiring warm, reliable in-person Hebrew tutors to work 1:1 with children ages 3–11 in West Los Angeles. Sessions vary by family needs (after school, weekends, and occasional daytime), offering flexible scheduling and meaningful, relationship-based work.<br><br>
</div><div>Ideal candidates are native Hebrew speakers with experience working with children. Experience supporting neurodivergent learners is a plus, but not required.<br><br>
</div><div>Ideal candidate availability includes: Mondays between 4:30–6:00 PM & Thursdays at 4:15 or 5:00 PM</div><div>
<br>Future Candidates will be considered for our 1:1 Summer Camp. <br><br>
</div><div>What You’ll Do<br><br>
</div><div>Provide 1:1 tutoring for early learners in areas like:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>This position only: Tutor/Teach Hebrew to students</li>
<li>Pre-literacy and reading foundations (phonemic awareness, decoding, comprehension)</li>
<li>Early math skills and number sense</li>
<li>Handwriting/fine-motor support when needed</li>
<li>Study habits and early executive functioning (routine, attention, transitions)</li>
<li>Social Communication & Academic Enrichment </li>
<li>Executive Function & Interest-Based Learning <br><br>
</li>
</ul><div>Support social-emotional growth alongside academics (confidence, frustration tolerance, flexibility)<br><br>
</div><div>Maintain brief session notes and progress updates<br><br>
</div><div>Communicate professionally with parents/guardians and the Franklin team<br><br>
</div><div>We Are Looking for Tutors Who Are...<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Warm, patient, energetic, and excellent at building rapport with young children</li>
<li>Comfortable providing structure (clear expectations, routines, visual supports, etc.)</li>
<li>Dependable and organized with strong communication skills</li>
<li>Able to travel locally for in-home sessions in the <strong>Mid City</strong>
</li>
</ul><div>Qualifications<br><br>
</div><div>Required<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree (or currently completing a degree with relevant experience)</li>
<li>Reliable transportation for in-person sessions </li>
</ul><div>Preferred (Plus)<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Special education experience (classroom, paraeducator, RSP, Ed Specialist, etc.)</li>
<li>Experience with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, anxiety, or behavior support</li>
<li>Credentials/certifications (CA credential, RBT, BCaBA/BCBA, reading intervention training, OG-based training, etc.)</li>
