FCA is seeking a thoughtful and imaginative Staff Interior Designer to join our collaborative, design-driven studio. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, grow alongside experienced designers, and play a hands-on role in shaping interiors that are both functional and inspiring.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works under the direction of mid- to senior-level interior designers
- Collaborates with and supports Project and Senior Interior Designers in developing design solutions
- Demonstrates proficiency in design software used by the office for both drafting and presentations
- Researches and selects colors, finishes, and materials
- Prepares design and presentation drawings for interior design projects, including furniture specifications, finish boards, and binders
- Assists with business development efforts through preparation of presentation materials
- Builds and maintains effective client relationships
- Takes initiative to research and apply codes and technical requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design; actively pursuing NCIDQ certification
- 3 to 5 years of experience; workplace design experience preferred
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment
- Confidence in contributing ideas and participating in design discussions
- High attention to detail with an appreciation for thoughtful, creative design
