Job Title: Fractional CTO (Part-time / Advisory)

Location: Remote (India)

Start: ASAP

Commitment: ~2–6 hours/week (flexible; join calls and guide team)

Compensation: Equity-only (no cash at this stage). Full-time CTO path + additional equity possible as the company scales.

SuMeera Solutions is building CompliEase, a SaaS platform automating regulatory compliance workflows. We’re early-stage and building a real product with a growing team.

What you’ll do

• Provide CTO-level guidance for cloud SaaS architecture (AWS), scalability, security, cost optimization.
• Mentor and unblock the engineering team on system design, backend strategy, data architecture, and delivery approach.
• Review tech roadmap, engineering practices, and help with hiring/interview guidance when needed.
• Lightweight involvement: join calls, review designs, make decisions fast — no daily execution required.

Must-have background

• Proven experience as CTO / VP Engineering / Tech Lead owning SaaS architecture and leading teams.
• Strong cloud architecture experience in AWS
• Solid understanding of Python and Database backend + API design.
• Ability to guide a team practically (startup mindset; bias for shipping).
