About the job
We're looking for a Fractional CTO & INVESTOR to join Nova at the ground floor.
But before I get to the role — let me tell you what we're building.
Every founder, PM, and engineering leader I've spoken to has felt this:👉 A project was already broken before anyone knew it.👉 A team was already frustrated before anyone noticed.👉 Communication had already failed before the deadline was missed.
Nova is building AIRA — an AI layer that sits inside Slack, Google work speace and Teams and detects where team communication is breaking down, before it becomes a delivery failure or a people problem.
Not a dashboard. Not a bot. An invisible intelligence layer that surfaces the right signal at the right time.
Where we are today:✅ Working prototype — live and being tested✅ 2 pilot clients in active use✅ 1 potential enterprise client in active conversations✅ Pre-Seed round open — closing in 30 days✅ Series A targeted within 6 months
──────────────────────────🛠️ THE ROLE──────────────────────────
Title: Fractional CTO / Technical AdvisorCommitment: 5–10 hours per month
Stage: Pre-Seed | AI & SaaS
This will require you to invest a minimum of ₹10 L in Nova via a convertible note as part of this role? If no, please skip
What you'll actually do:→ Shape the technical architecture and scalability roadmap→ Help us make the right early engineering decisions→ Advise on hiring our first full-time engineering team→ Be a sounding board as we move toward Series A→ Open doors — intros to enterprise clients, technical validators, investors
──────────────────────────🤝 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR──────────────────────────
→ Senior engineering leaders, VPs or CTOs with 10+ years of experience→ Someone who has built or scaled SaaS products→ Deep understanding of AI/ML integration in real products→ Has felt the pain of communication breakdowns in engineering teams firsthand→ Wants to be close to an early-stage product — not just consult from a distance
This is not a full-time role.This is for someone who wants to back something they believe in — with their time, expertise, and network.
