Information Technology Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in providing technical support, maintaining system security, and ensuring data integrity. The role includes managing system backups, applying security patches, supporting end-users, and maintaining both Windows and Linux environments along with networking tasks. Key Responsibilities: Ensure data integrity and security through regular system backups, antivirus updates, and timely application of security patches. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux systems. Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and ensure all software licenses are valid and up-to-date. Assist in IT policy enforcement and ensure adherence to security protocols. Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement system upgrades and improvements. Monitor system performance and logs to detect potential issues and resolve them proactively. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 6 months to 1 year of experience in IT administration or support. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Familiarity with networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations. Experience with backup systems, antivirus software, and security patch management. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support end-users.
