Role Overview
We are seeking a Financial Analyst with strong exposure to financial reporting, analytics, and data modelling. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building financial models, reports and management presentations. Ability to build dashboards using BI tools like Zoho Analytics, PowerBI is an added advantage. The role supports management decision-making through accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust financial models to support MIS, FP&A, and management reporting
- Prepare complete financial statements—Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow—along with detailed supporting schedules
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including trend, variance, ratio, margin, and scenario (what-if) assessments
- Develop comprehensive forecasts and Annual Operating Plans (AOP) with clear, structured articulation
- Create management reporting packs (MIS) including power point presentations and actively participate in review discussions
- Collaborate closely with finance and business teams to understand and address reporting needs
- Drive automation and enhance efficiency across financial reporting processes
- Design, develop, and refine dashboards and analytical reports, primarily using Zoho Analytics; experience with Power BI is a plus
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and analytics
- Strong hands-on experience in Excel functionalities
- Strong hands-on experience in data modelling and data structuring
- Good understanding of financial statements and ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) or equivalent
- Experience in consulting, CFO services, or analytics-driven finance roles
- Exposure to automation, MIS frameworks, and dashboard-driven reporting
