<div><strong>Job Description</strong></div><div> </div><div>FOXPE has an exciting opportunity for a Water and Wastewater Project Engineer to join our Nashville, Tennessee Team. The successful candidate will work on various water and wastewater projects for municipal clients. This team member will be responsible for conducting studies, preparing plans and specifications, applying engineering principles, methods, and techniques on water and wastewater planning, design, and construction projects. </div><div> </div><div>The position plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned projects, engineering tasks, monitors work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices and standards, coordinates their activities with other project team members, and ensures that the project requirements are being satisfied. The successful Water and Wastewater Project Engineer candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative office environment to develop innovative and technically sound designs for new facilities, expansions, upgrades, and retrofits.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><div> </div><ul>
<li>Lead design efforts for projects related to water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, gravity sewer, and pressure pipelines and storage facilities. </li>
<li>Responsibilities include civil engineering, water and wastewater design, hydraulic design, and project management.</li>
<li>Perform fieldwork and site visits as required throughout design and construction phases.Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical aspects of projects.</li>
<li>Accountable for the successful completion of projects.</li>
<li>Participate in client and contractor meetings and resolve technical project issues.</li>
<li>Work within industry and FOXPE design standards to lead the preparation of drawings, specifications and technical documents in conjunction with other team members and design disciplines.</li>

<br><strong>Required Skills and Position Requirements:</strong>

<li>Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.</li>
<li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in water and wastewater planning, design, and infrastructure construction related projects.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organizational skills, and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Professional engineer (PE) license is required.</li>
<li>Strong project engineering, water and wastewater design, and technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and verbally.</li>
<li>Effective oral and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated project and time management ability.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, some travel required.</li>
