We're led by three individuals with deep expertise in finance, technology and sustainability across four continents, who have all learned (often the hard way) how to make genuine impacts in complex, process-heavy organisations. From our org structure to our processes and down to our code itself, collaboration and a generalist approach is fundamental. Our engineering team consists of people who put the business first. Well-made software is vital, but it is simply a means to an end. If you're someone who wants to do more than simply build cool stuff, and are driven by playing a key part in building an efficient and meaningful businesses, please get in touch. We're looking for someone to lead our small but growing Singapore-based engineering team, in partnership with our CTO. The role has a significant hands-on component owing to our early stage, but we hope that interested candidates would always want to stay close to the code even as we grow. Our CTO still codes too - all hands on deck! We care less about how long you've been a technologist and more about how you've grown in your craft and leadership style. Your reports are ambitious and business-minded while they do need to learn from your experience (particularly the many mistakes you have likely made over your career!), they also need to feel empowered by you. That means supporting them in their work, constructively nudging them toward more robust approaches, and setting an example through honesty and pragmatism. As mentioned above, all of our roles are full-stack, from front-end to back-end to our infrastructure and pipelines. While you do not need to be an expert in all areas, you should be able to make meaningful contributions in terms of architecture, security and scale in collaboration with our CTO and other senior members of the team.
