Job Title: Key Account Manager – Foundry Sales
Department: Sales
CTC : 20 LPA
Location: Coimbatore
Reports to: Sales Head / Business Unit Head
Job Purpose
To drive revenue growth and manage key accounts in the foundry segment by building strong
customer relationships, providing technical and commercial solutions, and ensuring customer
satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
• Manage and grow strategic accounts in the foundry industry. Especially IRON Foundry
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication and
resolution of issues.
• Conduct regular review meetings and technical discussions with clients.
Business Development
• Identify new business opportunities within assigned territory or accounts.
• Drive cross selling and upselling initiatives to maximize account value.
• Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence to internal teams.
Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop account-specific sales plans aligned with company goals.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with product, technical, and commercial teams to provide end-to-end
solutions.
Customer Relationship Management
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt support and high-quality service.
• Maintain customer records and feedback through CRM tools.
Reporting & Analytics
• Submit weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and account status updates.
• Track KPIs like revenue growth, customer retention, and service delivery.
• Provide input to improve pricing strategies and delivery timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science / business or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in foundry products, castings, raw
materials, or related manufacturing sectors.
• Proven experience managing large or strategic accounts.
• Strong understanding of technical sales and industrial customer requirements.
Skills & Competencies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
• Ability to travel frequently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and customer-focused.
