We're hiring a Founding Video Editor at Brand Protocol Agency.
We work with brands like Angel One, TinkerLabs, Prudent Corporate House, and more on end-to-end content. Pre-production, production, and post-production. You'd be the person who brings it all together.
This is our first full-time hire. So this isn't just a job. It's a founding team role.
What you'll be doing:
✂️ Edit short-form content: Reels, YouTube Shorts, ad creatives, social clips that stop the scroll
🎬 Edit long-form content: brand films, product videos, podcasts, interviews, case studies
🎨 Handle colour grading, sound design basics, motion graphics, and subtitles. Own the full post-production pipeline, not just the cut.
📁 Organise and manage project files, assets, and deliverables
🤝 Collaborate directly with the founder on briefs. Bring creative inputs, not just execution.
📈 Build and document our internal editing workflow and quality standards over time
Here's what makes this role different from most editor roles. We need someone who thinks like a designer too.
Someone who has a strong visual sense. Who understands typography, layout, colour, and composition. Who has probably come from a design background and evolved into editing. Someone whose taste you can see in every frame they touch.

✅ Edits confidently in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar
✅ Has a design background or strong design sensibility
✅ Understands what makes content perform, not just look good
✅ Can manage multiple projects without constant hand-holding
✅ Wants to grow with an agency, not just pass through it
