Role Description
We’re looking for someone to own revenue generation end-to-end at Marslab. This is a zero-to-one sales role, you will go from: finding leads → getting them on calls → qualifying → closing → expanding accounts.
Location: Remote / Kolkata (In-office optional)
Mode: Full-Time
North Star Metric: Number of high-quality discovery calls that convert into revenue.
What You’ll Do:
- Outbound & Lead Generation: Source leads via LinkedIn, cold email, communities, and referrals while running consistent outbound campaigns and continuously testing and iterating on messaging and channels.
- Qualification & Discovery: Get prospects on calls, identify high-intent leads based on budget, urgency, and problem clarity, and quickly filter out low-quality prospects.
- Sales Conversion: Drive full-cycle sales from call to proposal to close, handle objections, pricing, and negotiations, and collaborate with the founder to close high-value deals.(This will be founder-assisted).
- Pre-Sales Relationship Management: Maintain strong follow-ups throughout decision cycles to ensure no warm leads drop off due to poor communication.
- Post-Sales & Account Expansion: Maintain client relationships post-delivery while identifying upsell opportunities across new AI use cases, additional builds, and AMC/retainers.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in Sales, Business Development, or Client Acquisition with 1 - 3 years of work experience
- Strong Negotiation, Communication, and Relationship-Building Skills
- Strong communicator with high ownership
- Bias for action, gets things done without hand-holding
- Market Research, Analytic Thinking, and Problem-Solving Capabilities
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales-related software solutions
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment
- Prior experience in technology and AI-driven solutions is a plus, not a must-have
- Comfortable selling high-ticket services.
- Having some industry/B2B contacts, shows experience & goodwill
What We Offer
- Base salary ₹45,000 – ₹70,000 per month + attractive incentives
- High earning potential based on performance
