A founding product designer role that combines product management and design responsibilities, owning the entire product roadmap from strategy to execution. This role serves as employee #1 on product, reporting directly to the founders with a trajectory into VP Product or CPO. The designer will own both the recruiter and candidate experience for Fabric's AI-native hiring platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap including planning, prioritization, and execution
- Design experiences for both hiring teams running interviews and candidates taking them
- Sit with enterprise customers, pair with engineers, and work with CS and GTM teams
- Establish and maintain the design system, product language, and interaction patterns for the company
- Make strategic decisions on what gets built, when, and why
Must Have Skills
- Product UX Design
- User Research and User Centric Design
- Design Systems
- AI Design Tools (like Claude, Figma Make, Replit, Lovable etc.)
- Product metrics and analytics
