About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager with strong exposure to architecture, AEC, or built-environment workflows. This role is ideal for someone who understands how architects, design studios, developers, planners, and built-environment teams work, and wants to help build AI-native products for the future of the AEC industry. You will work closely with the founding team, engineering, design, and customers to convert real AEC problems into clear product requirements, workflows, features, and product experiences.
Must-Have Requirement
- Candidates must have strong knowledge of Architecture / AEC / Built Environment.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are graduates from a top architecture, planning, or design school.
- Only candidates with AEC / Architecture knowledge should apply.
What You Will Own
- Understand customer workflows across architecture firms, design studios, developers, and AEC teams.
- Conduct user research and customer discovery with architects, planners, designers, and business leaders.
- Translate customer pain points into product requirements, user stories, workflows, and product specifications.
- Work with the founding team to define product direction, feature priorities, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build intuitive, useful, and reliable product experiences.
- Support product demos, customer conversations, market research, and competitor analysis.
- Create product documentation, PRDs, workflow maps, demo narratives, and release notes.
- Help define product positioning for Planso’s AI-native AEC products.
- Track adoption, usage, feedback, and customer value from product releases.
- Build deep understanding of how AI can improve decision-making in the built environment.

Ideal Background
- Graduate from a top architecture, planning, or design school.
- 3–8 years of experience in architecture, product, consulting, business, or technology roles.
- Strong interest in AI, SaaS, design technology, geospatial tools, and the future of built-environment workflows.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong ownership, curiosity, and structured thinking.
