Role Description
As the Founding Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the core design philosophy and user experience at xPay. In this full-time, on-site role located in South Bengaluru, you will lead the design process, create intuitive product interfaces, conduct user research, and collaborate closely with product managers and engineers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing wireframes, building prototypes, and ensuring design consistency while driving the creation of exceptional products. You'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making and help our team craft effective solutions for a global audience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Visual Design and Product Design to create compelling and user-friendly interfaces.
- Expertise in Design Thinking and User Research to analyze user needs and ensure intuitive designs.
- Experience in UX Research for gathering feedback and refining designs based on user insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute design projects from concept to delivery.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a cross-functional team.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Prior experience in a startup environment or fintech is a plus.
