India has 260 million school-going children. Most of them will make life-defining career choices — which stream, which college, which path — without ever being exposed to what's actually possible.
NEP 2020 now mandates career counselling from Class 6. But schools have zero infrastructure to deliver it. The gap between policy and reality is massive.

About FutureReady
FutureReady is a career discovery platform for young minds aged 10–16. We help kids explore future-proof career paths — before they're boxed into decisions they can't reverse.
We're not an assessment tool. We're not a coaching platform. We're building the layer that should have existed between a child's curiosity and their future — and making it accessible to every school, every parent, every kid.
The engine is built. The model is designed. We're at the stage where execution separates a good idea from a movement that reaches millions.
The Role
We're looking for our Founding Operator — the person who will own product, growth, and operations end-to-end. You'll work directly with the founder. No layers. No bureaucracy. Full ownership.
This isn't a job. It's a founding position with a defined path to co-founder after one year of sustained impact.
What you'll own:
- The product experience — making it irresistible for a 12-year-old and indispensable for their parent
- School distribution — turning NEP 2020 from a policy document into your opening line with every principal
- Growth loops — building the mechanics that take us from thousands to millions of students
- Team building — you'll hire and lead your own squad
- Metrics that matter — students reached, schools activated, engagement, retention
What you bring:
- 3–7 years of building and shipping. Startup or high-growth environment preferred.
- Product instinct. You understand why a kid drops off a page in 3 seconds — and what to do about it.
- Operator DNA. You don't wait for briefs. You figure things out, move fast, break things, fix them faster.
- Fluency with AI tools as core workflow — not novelty.
- A gut-level understanding of India's education landscape, parent psychology, and how schools actually work.
- You care about impact. Not in a LinkedIn-bio way. In a "this is what I want to spend my next 5 years doing" way.
