Company Description
Kloth is a young, fast-moving startup reimagining how people discover and experience fashion. We believe the future of design is immersive — human-crafted experiences that feel alive, tactile, and emotionally resonant, not static screens and flat layouts. Through Klo, our personal AI fashion agent, we combine fit- and feel-aware virtual try-ons with deep understanding of individual taste and style. Shoppers explore over 1,000 partner brands and 50,000+ SKUs, find their perfect styles, and check out in a single tap, with 60-minute delivery in Bengaluru and 24-hour delivery across India.
We're building something the fashion world hasn't seen before, and we're looking for people who want to build it with us.
Role Description
Kloth is hiring a full-time Motion Graphic Designer to join our on-site team in Bengaluru. This is not a role for someone who wants to make standard 2D explainer videos. We're looking for a designer who lives and breathes 3D motion — someone who can imagine a world, build it, light it, and make it move.
You'll be responsible for creating immersive 3D motion experiences, cinematic product moments, and visual worlds that bring Klo and Kloth to life across every surface — app, web, social, brand films, and launch campaigns. You'll work closely with our founders, product, and ML teams to translate the soul of the product into motion that feels alive.
If you think in scenes, materials, and camera moves — and you get excited about designing experiences that have never existed before — this is for you.
Qualifications
- 3D motion design experience is critical. Strong portfolio demonstrating mastery in tools like Cinema 4D, Blender, Houdini, Octane, Redshift, or Unreal Engine. We want to see worlds you've built, not just animations you've polished.
- Deep proficiency in motion design fundamentals — timing, weight, camera language, and storytelling through movement.
- Strong command of materials, lighting, and rendering — you understand how fabric drapes, how light falls on skin, how a surface should feel.
- Comfort with the 2D motion stack as well (After Effects, Premiere Pro), and the standard design toolkit (Photoshop, Illustrator) for surrounding assets.
- Video production fluency — editing, sequencing, post-production, color, and sound sensibility.
- An imagination that runs ahead of the brief. You should be able to picture a finished piece in your head before anyone tells you what it should look like, and push us toward ideas we haven't thought of yet.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment where you'll own work end-to-end.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field — or a portfolio strong enough to make the degree irrelevant.
- Experience in fashion, beauty, luxury, or retail is a strong plus.
